Beefy Motor Mount
(I Hope)

I had two pieces of 2" x 2" X 1/4" angle cut to about 2 1/2 " long, then welded to either side of the "moustache bar" mounting bracket. Fortunately my company has ASME-certified welders who are allowed to use company equipment for personal jobs. The same guy also welded my skid plate extension pieces and painted it, but refuses payment for anything.
I also had one of the guys cut me two pieces of the same stock, about 5 inches long. They are held by the bumper bolts. I found the class 8.8 M-12 x 1.5 bolts at NAPA. The original ones are not long enough, especially with the beefy washers.
While the bumper was loose I removed it, replaced the end caps and ran a tap through the threads.
Now I can use a ratcheting box wrench on the 13 mm nuts. Much nicer!
